Do I need Counselling?
What is Counselling?
Life can, at times, feel full on and challenging, this can sometimes leave you feeling overwhelmed and not able to make the decisions that are right for you. Counselling gives you that precious time to sit, for an hour each week, where I can offer you a safe space where you won’t be judged or criticised. I won’t tell you what is right or wrong, I will help you to find the answers you need to find what is right for you.
I have a safe and confidential room where we won’t be disturbed during our sessions. I am bound to and adhere to the BACP Ethical Framework of Good Practice.
Counselling is confidential unless you disclose something that implies that either you or someone else is at risk of serious harm or if there is a child protection issue, in which case we will work together to get the necessary help and support.
How can counselling help?
You may already have an idea of what it is you want to talk through in your counselling session. But sometimes there isn’t that clarity, just the thought that something doesn’t feel quite right and that life could feel better. We can work through and spend time unpicking your thoughts and finding the answers you are searching for.
